Khloé Kardashian’s Good American Denim Has an Updated Take on the Texas Tuxedo
Khloe Kardashian caused quite a fashion frenzy with the launch of her denim line, Good American — the entrepreneur sold $1 million worth of denim in its very first day, making it the biggest denim launch in apparel history. Now, Good American fans can delve even deeper in the world of its body positive goods, which were specifically designed to cater to a “curvier, sexier, and stronger shape,” as the Kardashian sis is expanding her wares to include other blue jean staples — including her spin on the all-denim Texas tuxedo.
Taking to Instagram last night, the 32-year-old gave us a sneak peek at her brand’s new additions, saying, “Tomorrow we drop our @goodamerican mini skirts and the PERFECT denim jacket that is so effortless and versatile! My new favorite!!”
Kardashian paired her new The Oversized Denim Jacket ($265) with the raw-hemmed light blue The Mini ($145) skirt. The reality star’s take on the Texas Tuxedo is updated for 2017 with a nude bralette, and a miniskirt instead of a pair of jeans — but make no mistake, this look is still denim heavy. Whoa, even her shoes are made out of blue jean! For more contrast, you could always swap out the light blue mini for the new, darker The Stagger ($145) skirt.
Another way to make your Texas Tuxedo look up-to-date is to not really wear your jacket like a jacket at all (we’re talking to you, Gigi), which is what The Revenge Body host did here, by nixing the bralette and slumping her oversized jacket off her shoulders.
Also new to the line-up? “Good Legs” crop cuts and cut-off styles that Kardashian says “flatter every curve.” And just in time for spring too!
Happy shopping!
