I Rocked Khloe Kardashian’s Double-Stacked Lashes for a WHOLE Day
The Kardashians are known for their many contributions to the world of beauty. Kim is known for contouring, Kylie is known for her lip kits, Kendall is the supermodel and Kourtney is… the short one. But what about Khloe? For me, it’s all about her lashes. While Khloe’s makeup is generally understated, her lashes are always so on point. Whether they’re sexy and sultry or doe-eyed and playful, they’re always expertly done. She achieves that next-level lusciousness using one simple trick — double-stacking.
Khloe’s entire life is basically one big red carpet, so what would happen if I rocked this look IRL? Scroll down for application tips and my take on Khloe K’s double-stacked eyelashes.
STEP ONE: APPLY YOUR EYE MAKEUP
I applied my usual eye makeup: eyeshadow primer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara and setting spray. You can go all out with your eyes or keep it simple, but eyeliner and mascara are the bare minimum.
STEP TWO: APPLY THE LONGEST SET OF FALSE EYELASHES
When double-stacking false eyelashes, apply from longest to shortest for best results. I applied a set of lashes similar to the Ardell Edgy Lash False Eyelashes ($14) using Revlon Precision Eyelash Glue ($9). It’s really important when double-stacking to apply lashes as close to your lash line as possible, since you’ll be using two.
STEP THREE: APPLY SHORTER SET OF FALSE EYELASHES
Next, apply a layer of lash glue to your second set of lashes; I used a pair similar to the Ardell Natural Eyelashes ($10). Again, apply the shorter lashes as close to your natural lash line as possible. It’s easier to do if you look down into a compact mirror and hold the lashes with tweezers.
I wore these lashes ALL DAY and was so worried that my eyelids would get tired from the extra weight or that I’d lose a lash during brunch. Nothing of the sort happened, and I was even asked where I got my eyelash extensions done. Surprisingly, I absolutely loved the way they looked. From the way they opened up my eyes to the instant glam factor, these lashes really upgraded my OOTD and would be a super easy addition to my beauty routine. I can’t wait to experiment with different combos to get more va-va-voom into my day-to-day look.
