Khloé Kardashian Gets Super Real About Mommy-Shaming After Breastfeeding Struggles
Since welcoming her baby girl, True Thompson, into the world back in April, Khloé Kardashian has been showered with plenty of love. As the first-time mama recently revealed, however, she, like sister Kylie Jenner, has had to deal with her share of mommy-shaming.
In a very candid post titled ‘My Lifesaver for Feeding True’.uploaded to her app, the reality star opened up about being forced to use formula after she experienced difficulties with breastfeeding. “Because I don’t produce enough milk, I also have to give a bottle with every feeding,” she told fans.
While the new mama did receive plenty of props for sharing her story, some also took it as an opening to leave criticism and unsolicited advice.
The 33-year-old took to Twitter, declaring, “Mommy shaming is real! But the truth is I’ve tried and tried and tried to breastfeed only and it wasn’t working for me. I feel fortunate that I am able to still breastfeed but with the help of formula. Breastfeeding is something I really wanted to do. Just am not fully able.”

Luckily, as the Good American designer revealed in her original post, she now has a little help in the Baby Brezza Formula Pro One-Step Bottle Maker ($180).
“With the formula I use, I have to give True the bottle within 30 minutes of making it, so it’s amazing to have this machine make it for me. It’s super easy to use — and fast, so when I’m exhausted and can’t even keep my eyes open in the middle of the night, it’s a total lifesaver.”
