Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Are Reportedly Expecting Baby #4 Via Surrogate
The Kardashian family could be growing once again. According to reports from various outlets, including People, Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West are expecting their fourth child via surrogate.
Details are still sparse, and so far, no one from the family has confirmed or denied the reports. But Us Weekly claims the couple are due to welcome a baby boy sometime in early May. The little one would join big siblings Chicago, 11 months, Saint, 3, and North, 5.
Chicago was born almost exactly one year ago, on January 15, 2018, after also being carried by a surrogate. Kardashian chose the surrogacy route after doctors advised her that it wouldn’t be safe for her to get pregnant or give birth again due to complications from placenta accreta, the condition that caused serious issues during her first two pregnancies with North and Saint.
Shortly after Chicago’s birth, Kardashian denied rumors that she and West were already planning on trying for another child with the same surrogate. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been candid about both the difficulties and the benefits of using a surrogate, but she also admitted on an October episode of KUWTK that West had been “harassing” her for more children and that he wanted seven kids total.
Two other members of Kardashian’s family welcomed children in 2018, too. In February, Kylie Jenner gave birth to Stormi, and in April, Khloe Kardashian welcomed her daughter, True.
