Kim Kardashian West single-handedly ushered in the era of the contour (or should we say, kontour?), so it’s no surprise that we continue to look to the makeup maven for beauty inspo. While Kardashian’s makeup routine is rumored to cost around $1,200 (!!), the entrepreneur keeps plenty of drugstore favorites in her makeup drawer…and her go-to mascara costs less than $6!
Ariel Tejada, makeup artist to the sisters Kardashian and Jenner, dished on some of Kim’s beauty secrets to Us Weekly, and he revealed that the newly platinum blonde beauty relies on L’Oreal’s Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara ($6) for her legendary lashes.
Yep, even though she’s a bona fide beauty mogul herself these days (KKW Beauty made $14.4 million within minutes of its initial launch in June!), the soon-to-be mom of three loves herself a super affordable mascara. Earlier this year, the iconic brand confirmed that this mascara is the best-selling in the U.S., and we have a feeling it’s in no small part thanks to Kardashian’s devotion.
