Kim Kardashian Opens Up About a Miscarriage Scare With North
Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West have two gorgeous kids (and a third on the way, according to reports!), but their road to parenthood was a struggle. The KKW Beauty boss has been very open with fans about how difficult her pregnancies were for her health, but in the upcoming Keeping Up With the Kardashians 10th anniversary special, Kardashian reveals that she had a miscarriage scare while pregnant with North.
According to Refinery29, during the special, the mom of two talks about the initial shock of finding out she was pregnant. “I remember calling [Kanye] and he thought a family member of mine had died, I was so hysterical. I thought my life was over, that I was pregnant and [it was going to be] so hard for me,” she reportedly says.
Later in the special, we see previously unaired footage of Kardashian in extreme pain, and she explains that she believed she’d had a miscarriage. Her doctor told her there was “no heartbeat” and asked the reality star to return the next day for a private appointment. To everyone’s surprise, the baby was alive, with a strong heartbeat.
“It was an such an emotional Thanksgiving,” she admits in the special, according to Refinery29, adding that sister Kourtney was the only one who knew at the time.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians 10-Year Anniversary Special airs this Sunday, September 24.
