Kim Kardashian West Reveals Her Family’s Cute Christmas Traditions
We already know the Kardashian-Jenners love the holidays. Not only do they take their home decor super seriously, but their annual family Christmas card — or series of cards, if you count this year’s 25-photo countdown! — is always a highlight of the season. Now, Kim Kardashian West has revealed more details on how the family spends their holidays, and their traditions sound downright adorable.
“On Christmas morning, we all wear matching pajamas when we open presents at Kourtney’s house,” the Kimoji creator recently divulged on her app, saying that they get different pajamas each year. It’s possible that Kris Jenner gave us a sneak peek at this year’s PJs when she posted a photo of nine sets of PJs for her grandchildren (even though there are currently only six in the family).
Kardashian-West went on to detail another of the family’s traditions, explaining their Christmas day gift-giving process. “Over the years, it’s become a tradition that each family member has their own wrapping paper so that you know who the gift is from — it’s a fun representation of their style,” she explained. “In previous years, Kanye [West] and I went with matte black wrapping paper with a black ribbon. It’s fun to give gifts with that personalized touch.”
Before the big day, momager Kris Jenner’s annual Christmas Eve bash gets everyone more than merry as she serves delicious food and drinks to their family and closest friends before a night of photo booth pics and dancing.
“[It’s] probably everyone’s favorite night of the year,” Kardashian-West admitted. “Everyone gets glammed up and we have the best time. My mom is the ultimate host, and no one comes close to her decorating skills.”
“At the Christmas party, we see the same Santa that we’ve had since we were kids. He is honestly the perfect Santa,” Kim continued. She also noted how meaningful it is for her to get to pass her family’s traditions on to her kids, North and Saint. “It’s really special that something I experienced in my childhood is now a part of my kids’ childhood.” Here’s to another happy holiday for the KarJenners!
