Take a Peek Inside Kristen Wiig’s Historic Pasadena Home
Kristen Wiig is getting historic with her new Pasadena property. The Bridesmaids actress just bought a $2.96 million landmark home in the San Rafael area in Pasadena, CA. Known as “Case Study House #10,” the home was built in 1947 and designed by father-and-son architecture icons Nomland and Nomland (it’s on the National Register of Historical Landmarks!). Wiig also owns homes in the Los Angeles’ Silver Lake neighborhood, New York’s SoHo area, and Chilmark on Martha’s Vineyard, and recently sold a house in the Los Feliz neighborhood in LA. We’re highlighting some of our favorite elements of the stylish space below, but you can check out the full tour on Trulia.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom, 3,425-square-foot home is designed with tons of windows for abundant natural light. Renovated in 2012, the space is a perfect blend of indoor/outdoor living and mid-century modern design.
The roomy kitchen with plenty of counter seating is ideal for a girls’ brunch, and so is the spacious dining area, which boasts a fireplace in the corner.
Sitting on 14,989 square feet of land, the house is surrounded by lush landscaping, making it the perfect place to host a pool party or spa day (the house has both amenities!). The party-friendly patio is ready for guests day or night. We’re just waiting for our invite…
