Kristin Cavallari Talks About Having a Baby After Losing Her Brother
Kristin Cavallari survived the joy of giving birth and the sorrow of losing her brother, all within three weeks of each other. The experience could easily have seen the star struggling just to make it through the days, but she says that her newborn daughter and two toddler sons have given her a reason to keep going.
Kristin was heartbroken to learn of the death of her brother Michael, who passed away from hypothermia after abandoning his car when investigators believe he crashed into a rock and then tried to find help.
“I’m okay. I’m going to have good days and bad days, but I’ve really found a lot of strength in my kids, especially Saylor. I couldn’t just fall apart — I had a little baby to look after,” Cavallari explained to People. “When you lose someone, it really makes you realize how precious life is, and so I’m just thankful that I have my babies and I’m thankful for everything in my life.”
Along with her husband, Chicago Bears Quarterback Jay Cutler, the two are raising three little ones: Saylor who’s three and a half months, Jaxon Wyatt who’s 22 months and Camden Jack who’s three years old. These are two parents who definitely have their hands (and hearts) full!
