Kristin Cavallari Has a Strict Rule When It Comes to Her Kids Doing Reality TV
Kristin Cavallari won’t let her kids do reality TV until they’re at least 18. The 30-year-old mother-of-three rose to fame by sharing her life with the world alongside fellow mamas and mamas-to-be Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge, AND Heidi Montag, but when it comes to her own kiddos, she has a very good reason for her strict reality TV rule.
Explaining her reasoning in a new interview with Us Weekly, Cavallari — who now resides in Nashville with four-year-old Camden, three-year-old Jaxon, 19-month-old Saylor, and husband and ex-NFL player Jay Cutler — revealed that she wants to wait until her children are older so “they [can] make their own decision” about being in the public eye and on TV.

She added, “There’s so much pressure as is in middle school and high school, and having a camera in your face magnifies all of that.” No doubt. And while being a teen reality star is definitely a unique experience, it’s one that Cavallari knows all too well, which is why she’s so adamant about her decision.
“I want them to be kids and stay young and innocent for as long as possible,” she told Us Weekly. We get it. Innocence is bliss.
