Kylie Jenner Just Posted Something Actually Inspiring on Instagram (No, Really)
Leave it to Kylie Jenner to totally surprise us with her latest Instagram post — but this time in a really good way. You may have noticed that one of the most recent ‘grams from Kylie is NOT of her, not of a family member and not of anything she bought. It’s a picture of someone else who has a really good story to tell. Take a look:
The picture Kylie posted sheds light on the campaign Why #IAmMoreThan What You See, a movement dedicated to inspiring young people who “refuse to let being bullied define them.”
According to Instagram’s Blog, Kylie is spearheading this social movement via her Instagram all week long. Today’s post profiled Renee DuShane (@alittlepieceofinsane, follow herrr!), a college student from Boston who was born with Pfeiffer syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects the growth and formation of her facial bones. When Renee was 18 years old, she posted a no makeup selfie (clearly she was way ahead of the celeb trend) and it went viral — as it should have. Since then, the blog post says, she’s been focused on helping others to feel empowered to love themselves through social media.
Three snaps for Renee DuShane and everything she’s about. Also, big props to Kylie for using her hugely-followed social channels to promote this. We can’t wait to see what she posts next for the #IAmMoreThan campaign.
