Kylie Jenner’s B-Day Gift from Tyga Might Get Him Arrested
With all that she’s already accomplished, it’s easy to forget how young Kylie Jenner is. Celebrating her 19th birthday today, the mini-mogul (whose deals can sometimes cause drama within the famous fam) received one heck of a gift from her bae, Tyga, in the form of a $200k car. But while the duo is off celebrating, it turns out legal troubles are waiting at home, as the lavish present may end up getting Tyga arrested. Uh-oh, indeed.
Although known for wild spending (this certainly isn’t the first high-priced gift he’s given Kylie), Tyga is apparently not so great at managing his finances. In fact, he’s currently facing a lawsuit from his former landlord who received a $480,000 judgment against the rapper after Tyga not only failed to pay most of the rent, but also left the Malibu home in less than an ideal state (i.e. totally trashed).
Now, with Tyga purchasing Kylie a super-expensive car (and the fact that it was shown off on social media so isn’t exactly a secret), according to TMZ, the landlord’s attorneys are claiming the action was in fact “a fraudulent transfer of assets that should go to satisfy the judgment.”
While Tyga was set for a court date to face the music, he ended up being a no-show. Why’s that? Well, he’s off in Turks and Caicos celebrating Kylie’s birthday with her. Court shmourt, amirite? Though Tyga sent his lawyers on his behalf, the judge was less than impressed, issuing a bench warrant for his arrest. Whoa!
And the judge isn’t the only one who’s totally unimpressed with Tyga’s actions. The Kardashian-Jenners are apparently raging. When news got out that trouble was brewing, the fam hit their phones to let him know just what they think of the sitch. Basically, the family doesn’t want Kylie to have anything to do with Tyga, as his actions and legal trouble could hurt their overall brand.
It sounds like Tyga is going to have more than a few peeved people to face when he gets back from vacay.
