The Internet Is So Confused About Kylie and Tyga’s Relationship Status
Another day, another Kardashian-Jenner-related drama. The focus of the moment, according to webiverse, is whether Kylie and Tyga are still a thing. The folks at People went looking for an answer and the one they got was: “[It’s] complicated.”
This is according to a source “close” to the family, whatever that means. “When Kylie is happy, they’re happy — but it’s never that simple,” the insider tells People. “There’s always some kind of drama with Kylie and Tyga.”
For real. The makeup maven and rapper have been together off and on for three years. There was a time when they gushed over each other on social media, but in the past few weeks, it’s been awful quiet. This has left the Internet with a lack of closure.
We’re here to help: Apparently, on March 13, TheDaily Mail spotted the pair taking photos of Kylie’s outfit to post on Instagram. So all good?
Not quite. E! News claims Tyga hasn’t made an appearance on Kylie’s Snapchat since March 8. That puts the couple at over a month without tagging each other. Duh-duh-duh.
But wait, on April 4, Refinery29 noticed Kylie was lip-syncing to Tyga’s song on a Snapchat video. Does this mean they’re still together or was it more of a post-breakup moment of weakness? (We’ve all been there.)
The mystery deepens thanks to the eagle eyes at J-14 who spotted Tyga liking one of Kylie’s Instagram posts on April 9.
Where are the reality show cameras when we need them? They’re following Kylie for her new series, Life With Kylie, but according to a source who spoke to People, Tyga isn’t getting much airtime. Drama (and paparazzi) still follow him: Last night, after leaving a club, he was pulled over by police for a “sobriety check” (which he totally passed). Hollywood Life claims he texted Kylie during the incident but she didn’t text back. So that either means they’re together or not.
Hey, love isn’t easy—especially when the world is watching.
