Give the Gift of Relaxation With Lauren Conrad’s DIY Bath Bombs
Just in time for Mother’s Day, Lauren Conrad has just the gift for all the moms in your life. The LC Lauren Conrad designer, who’s pregnant with her first child, took to her website to share her super-simple homemade rose and lavender bath bomb.
“Whether you’re celebrating your own mom or loving on the ones around you, I think we can all agree that these selfless ladies are overdue for a little rest and relaxation,” she wrote. “Let’s be honest, taking a bath is way more fun with a fizzy bath bomb working its magic in the tub.”
Here’s how to make her rose bomb below!
Ingredients:
For the rose bath bombs
- 1 cup baking soda
- ½ cup citric acid
- ½ cup cornstarch
- ¼ cup dry milk
- 3 Tablespoons Epsom salt
- handful of dried rose petals
- 1 teaspoon water
- 2 Tablespoons almond oil
- 15-20 drops rose oil
Instructions:
In separate bowls for the lavender and rose bath bombs, mix together the baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, milk powder, and Epsom salt. Then, separately from the dry ingredients, mix together the water, almond oil, and rose oils.

Next, combine the wet and dry ingredients, adding a few extra drops of almond oil if needed so the mixture will stick together. When you can make a ball and it doesn’t fall apart, place the mixture into rose silicon molds. Let the mixture sit in the molds for at least three to four hours, the longer the better.
After they’ve sat, you can remove them from the mold and put into a mason jar with leftover rose petals. Just add a bow and voilà! Your Mother’s Day present is good to gift.
