Lauren Conrad Gives Birth, Welcomes a Baby Boy With William Tell!
“Tell” the world! Lauren Conrad gave birth to a baby boy, her first child with husband William Tell, on July 5. The Paper Crown designer (who recently dropped a maternity line for Kohl’s) announced her happy news via Instagram, sharing a needlepoint of her family — complete with a baby and two dogs — with the caption: “He’s here! We’re so excited to welcome Liam James Tell into the world!” (Liam is No. 37 on Nameberry’s Top 100 Most Popular Baby Names for Girls and for Boys for 2017!)
She shared even more details on her website. “William and I are thrilled to share that on Wednesday, July 5th, we welcomed Liam James Tell into the world. He is 6 pounds, 14 ounces, and 20 inches long,” she wrote.
“I’ll be taking a little bit of a step back from the site over the next few weeks as we adjust to life as a family of three (five, if you count Chloe and Fitz of course…),” she continued. “But not to worry… my editorial team will be working hard to bring you tons of great content in the meantime, and I’ll still be blogging here and there when I can, bringing you updates from my life as a new mom. Plus, I’ve drafted up a few blog posts ahead of time, so you can still expect to see at least one or two posts a week coming from yours truly.”
She also asked her readers to leave new mom advice in the comments section. (We’re sure there will be plenty!)
Conrad announced her pregnancy on New Year’s Day, posting a sonogram with the caption, “Happy New Year! I have a feeling 2017 is going to be the best year yet…” A few months later, in May, she celebrated with friends and family at a dreamy poolside baby shower.
