Lauren Conrad’s Pre-Wedding Updo Is a Boho Bride’s Dream
Just days ago, Lauren Conrad slyly showed off her wedding band for the first time since her September wedding to William Tell. And while the delicate diamond ring had us dreaming in rose gold, the latest detail to be revealed about Mrs. Tell’s big day is actually upstaging the bling. What else could it be besides her hair?
Remember, before Lauren cut her hair into a blunt bob, the former Laguna Beach star had some of the most enviable lengthy tresses around. Her signature soft, beachy waves were her secret weapon to always looking impossibly put together, a beauty move that she pulled yet again at her wedding ceremony, where Lauren wore her hair down under a thin veil and rhinestone headband. But it turns out the bride switched things up in the beauty department the night before with a romantic updo. As seen in this Instagram snap from Lauren’s stylist Kristin Ess, Lauren wore her hair in a loosely pulled back chignon with pieces twisted back — all in all, a stunning pre-wedding look. The slightly curled tendrils added to the bohemian bride vibe, along with a pearl-studded branch hairpin that made the hairstyle even dreamier.
But the best part about Lauren’s tousled side bun is that you don’t have to be altar-bound to wear it. In fact, this LC-approved look is now our go-to hairstyle for all of our holiday soirees. Just apply a little texture spray for volume, add a few bobby pins to secure those twisted strands back and clip in a sparkly hair accessory, and we’re party-ready. Want to get in on the look too?
