Taking a break from small screen controversy, Lena has been making waves lately with her writing, specifically her views on traditional marriage, so it only seems fitting that she’s looking for a more regular platform to post on. The newsletter is to launch in fall but already has a bevy of fans from Mindy Kaling to (well duh) Jack Antonoff. A Buzzfeed article reports that the staff of Lenny already includes former writers from Jezebel, The Hairpin, and Rookie meaning if done right this newsletter could be your ultimate source for girl power online. Jenny also adds that the site will make money via “e-commerce that collaborates with independent female artists and designers in ethical, affordable, and witty apparel and design items,” meaning there will be clickable links to buy the maker-made styles you see. Granted, this kind of content is available pretty much everywhere already on the internet (Jezebel, The-Toast, The Hairpin and um hello Brit + Co) but it will be fun to see how the content looks when it’s sprinkled with Lena’s infamous quirk.
Thank you to all of you for inspiring Lenny in all sorts of ways. We can’t wait to bound into your inbox
