Liam Hemsworth Is Supporting Miley’s Comments on Sexuality in the Sweetest Way Possible
Miley Cyrus made (yet another) splash earlier this week when she opened up about past experiences with her own sexual identity on National Coming Out Day.
Revealing that her first romantic relationship was, in fact, with a girl, and that she’s personally struggled with her own gender and sexuality, Miley said that she’s most comfortable describing herself as “pansexual” — someone whose sexual options aren’t limited by the confines of sex, gender or gender identity.
Those that were curious about what her (heterosexual) fiancé Liam Hemsworth thought about those uber-honest remarks need wonder no more, as he’s officially chimed in on the sitch with nothing but love and support for his bae.
Not only did Liam attend the Variety Power of Women luncheon where Miley was included as one of the event’s nominees (alongside Scarlett Johansson, Laverne Cox, Helen Mirren and Ava DuVerNay), he gushed all about it to Access Hollywood, a rarity for the actor, who refused to comment on his engagement sitch for the longest.
“She loves everyone,” he told the outlet when asked about the term. “Her whole way of being is loving. I’m very proud of her; I’m really happy for her that she’s receiving [this] award. I think she’s doing things for the right reasons, and trying to make the world a better place… Being a position of power like she is, she has a huge impact on young people and her fans, and I think everything she’s doing is for a good reason,” he said.

Overall? “It’s about making the world a better place. Loving each other. Yeah,” he concludes with a smile.
Whoa! That’s a mouthful for a guy who barely speaks on his own love life, but watching the clip, you get the sense that he just couldn’t help himself.
We, for one, are dying at the sweetness of it all ― nothing says true love quite like an unwaveringly supportive partner, areweright? Check out the clip in all its glory here.
Are you impressed by Liam’s response? Tell us over @BritandCo!
