New to Disney World? Make Sure to Eat at THESE 10 Places!
We don’t care how many times we need to say it — we’ll roll up our sleeves, show off our Beauty and the Beast tattoos, and shout it from Splash Mountain: Walt Disney World is *not* just for kids! In fact, that’s exactly why Magic Kingdom got a whole lot boozier last year, so there. But on top of the drinks and the cherished childhood nostalgia, the Orlando resort is also beloved for its restaurants. If you’ve been to the park a few times, you probably already have your trusty go-to’s. If you’re new, we got you. These 10 spots will show you a whole new world.

1. L’Artisans Des Glaces: Ice-cream lovers MUST visit L’Artisans Des Glaces at Epcot Center. This gem is tucked away in the far left corner of “France” and scoops up flavors ranging from Cinnamon With Caramelized Apple and Crumble Crunch to a simple yet delectable Mint-Chocolate.

2. ’50s Prime Time Cafe: Located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this joint is less about the food and more about the experience. Press the rewind button and fly back to the 1950s for some good ol’ home cookin’ in a realistic vintage setting where you can dig into Mom’s Old Fashioned Pot Roast or Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken. Just keep your elbows off the table, or the staff will make an example out of you in front of everyone.
3. California Grill: Is this place on the pricier side? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes, a thousand times YES. Located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort next to Magic Kingdom, California Grill lets you indulge in memorable high-quality eats, including sushi, Angus beef filets, and sustainable seafood.
4. Beaches and Cream Soda Shop: If your love for sundaes knows no bounds, this soda shop located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be your personal utopia. Their jaw-dropping specialty, the “Kitchen Sink,” serves four people with mounds of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, cookies and cream, and mint chocolate chips slathered in every topping available.

5. Biergarten: Every day is Oktoberfest at Biergarten in Epcot. With hand bells, cow bells, and alpenhorns being played on stage, the buffet-style restaurant places you in a Bavarian village where you can mow down on all the bratwurst, red cabbage, spätzle, and pork schnitzel you can handle. We’ll raise a stein to that!
6. Be Our Guest: It’s near impossible to get a table at the Beast’s enchanted castle, but if you’re a Beauty and the Beast buff, you have to try. Whether you’re seated in the bright ballroom or the dark and mysterious West Wing, you’ll enjoy a mouth-watering selection of dishes like braised beef and roasted racks of lamb. For dessert, we recommend the “Grey Stuff;” it truly is delicious.

7. Coral Reef Restaurant: This restaurant sets you up to feast with breathtaking views of fascinating sea creatures and live coral reef. It’s exciting for kids and adults alike, and the menu is a seafood-lover’s dream with crab cakes, seared mahi mahi, and the best shrimp and grits you’ll EVER have.

8. Yak and Yeti™ Restaurant: Disney’s Animal Kingdom is FULL of great, quick counter-service meals, but if you’re looking for a place to sit and rest your feet, this stunning Nepalese-style restaurant is where it’s at. Dig into a mountain of Ahi Tuna Nachos or save your appetite to polish off some Kalbi Steak and Coconut Shrimp.
9. Via Napoli: What’s better than chomping down on an authentic wood-fired pizza in the middle of Disney’s Epcot Center? Nothing, obviously. If you can’t get to Naples anytime soon, Via Napoli is a great second choice with its Classic Margherita and Prosciutto e Melone pizzas.
10. Yorkshire County Fish Shop: We’re not all lucky enough to make it to London for the real deal, but Epcot makes it happen once again with these gloriously golden fish ‘n’ chips. Wash them down with a frosty pint of lager and fall into a state of total bliss.
