@thesassyoak Create a beautiful faux pumpkin vase with me! 🧡 I purchased a paper machete pumpkin from @hobbylobby for a fraction of the cost of a normal faux pumpkin. Use a circle to create a template for you to cut the top out of your pumpkin. Paint the pumpkin with your choice of paint. I used Waverly chalk paint in Ivory from @walmart and applied two coats. Dehydrate your orange slices. This process takes about 4 hours so it’s best to do the day before. Cut your orange slices 1/4” thick, blot off any excess moisture and place on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet and put in a 200 degree preheated oven. Flip every 20-30 minutes until they’re dehydrated (apx 4 hours). Allow them to dry overnight and then hot glue the slices onto floral wire. Choose your fall foliage stems and cut with wire cutters to desired length. I purchased mine from @hobbylobby Arrange your stems and add sliced oranges. That’s it! Easy peasy!
