Lollapalooza 2017 has arrived in all its fest-glory, and what a wild ride it’s been thus far! From sunny highs to cold, rainy lows that forced the festival to cut short its Thursday night headliners (sorry, Lorde and Muse fans) in order to evacuate the park, fest-goers had to be ready for just about anything weather-wise. Consequently, this year’s style scene was truly unique, hosting everything from head-to-toe sequins to denim tuxedos like you’ve never seen. Click through to check out the best of the fest we’ve seen… so far!
Millennial Pink Dream: This young lady matched her standout pink locks to her fringed pink and floral embroidered tunic, taking full advantage of the trending status of the “it” color.
Denim Trio: These gals planned for months to get these coordinating denim getups just right. Playing with various washes, hem length, and accessories (that headwrap, tho) to make each ensemble unique, they finished off their looks with glitter and a bit of face bling around the brows.
Sparkle Twins: No twosome stood out more than this sparkly duo, who scored these seriously eye-catching pieces in the UK. Sequins? Check. Cutouts? Check. Bold colors? Check. Throw in some face glitter, a bright fanny, and a statement necklace, and you’ve got yourself some completely *unforgettable* fest-wear.
Meooow: A pair of cat ears, bright purple sunglasses, and fishnet tights were all this goth lover needed to take her fest uniform next level.
Outta This World: This space-agey pink holographic two-piece had us flashing back to that time Gigi Hadid channeled Barbie in the flesh in her own shiny pink two-piece number courtesy of Kreist's fall line.
Summer Stripes: With a tip of her sun hat, this woman stayed cool beneath the sun’s rays, getting some extra ventilation from the slit in her button-down striped skirt.
Color Bonanza: Between her blue hair and the ROYGBIV pops of color in her gorgeous patchwork skirt, this Lolla attendee had it going on in the pigment department.
Killer Kimono: This woman recycled her friend’s Coachella kimono to hit up Lollapalooza, pairing it with a black bikini top and bottom, fishnet socks, some statement jewelry, and chunky heels.
Fringe Sisters: These blonde beauties, born 18 months apart, managed to coordinate their outfits while still keeping their own identities, with one choosing a rust-colored fringe skirt while the other opted for a black fringe belt to accentuate their white and black lace bralettes, turquoise jewelry, and floppy sun hats.
Flower Power: A few sprigs of baby’s breath woven into some pretty braids took this boho babe’s brunette locks next level.
All Mesh Everything: This fest-goer took the fishnet trend to new heights, donning an-all mesh skirt over high-waisted bottoms, a sheer pink top, and a matching necklace and sunnies.
Rainbow Bright: This fest-goer covered up with twin rainbow embroidery, the perfect match to her cutesy pigtails and shiny fanny pack.
Jazzy Jumpsuit: In a sea of denim shorts and tees, this stylish jumpsuit stood out in the crowd. That metallic fanny pack certainly didn’t hurt matters, either!
Sun Lounger: This sun-ready caped jumpsuit billowed in the Windy City’s gusts, giving it an added dramatic flair.
