Lori Loughlin Sent New Dad John Stamos the Cutest Message About His Baby
Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse forever. John Stamos recently became a first-time dad when he and wife Caitlin McHugh welcomed a baby boy, Billy, and now his Fuller House costar Lori Loughlin has reached out with a congratulatory message that’s keeping our love for the on-screen duo strong.
“Hey, hey, Mr. Stamos,” Loughlin said in a video that Stamos shared on his Instagram. “We all want to come and meet Billy, but see, you’re home with a newborn baby and I’m hanging out with the cool crowd.”
Loughlin — who was joined in the video by her two daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, as well as internet personalities David Dobrik and Trisha Paytas — then blew Stamos a kiss as the others congratulated him on the baby and cheered.
Stamos is just as eager for his on-screen wife to meet his new son. “Can’t wait for Billy to meet his great, great, great Aunt Becky and clan,” he wrote. “XOXOX.”
Stamos and McHugh welcomed little Billy earlier in April, with the proud dad announcing the news on Instagram. “From now on, the best part of me will always be my wife and my son,” he captioned an adorable black-and-white Instagram of the newborn lying on his stomach. The name was chosen as a tribute to actor’s late father, Billy Stamos.
While Stamos is now happily married to McHugh, fans still live for his on-screen connection with his longtime costar Loughlin. Recently, Loughlin admitted that fans still comment on her social media saying they wished she’d married her Fuller House husband in real life — and hilariously, her *actual* husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, agrees. “Sometimes my husband will comment back and say, ‘Yeah, you should have [married Stamos]!’ or something funny like that,” she recently told ET. “Like, he’ll just pop off!”
