These Lucky Charms Bars Are the Perfect Treat for St. Paddy’s Day
St. Patrick’s Day is just days away. This year, make sure your friends have a little luck on their side with these sweet treats — presenting Lucky Bars, made with Lucky Charms! Who says that adults can’t indulge in the fun cereal too?!
Ingredients:
– 1½ cup shortbread cookie crumbs
– ½ cup butter, melted
– 1/4 cup sprinkles
– 7 oz sweetened condensed milk (½ of a can)
– 2 cup Lucky Charms
– 1 cup mini marshmallows
– 1 cup white chocolate chips
– 1 cup shredded coconut
– Optional: Download our Lucky Bars Printable Box right here to box your Lucky Bars in!
Instructions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 ½ cup of Shortbread cookie crumbs and ½ cup melted butter; add in the ¼ cup sprinkles.
2. Press cookie mixture to cover the bottom of an 8×11 inch pan. This will be the crust.
3. Pour 7 ounces (½ of a can) of sweetened condensed milk over the cookie crust. Spread to cover.
4. Top with 2 cups Lucky Charms, 1 cup miniature marshmallows, 1 cup white chocolate chips and 1 cup shredded coconut.
5. Sprinkle with additional Lucky Charms marshmallows for an added pop of color!
6. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
7. Let bars completely cool before cutting. This part is hard… but have patience! The bars will fall apart if you try to cut and separate them before they are completely cool. Cut bars into squares and pop them in your Lucky Bars boxes. Share with friends and enjoy.
