What Happens When Lucky Charms Meet White Russians? Lucky Russians!
Just when you thought White Russians couldn’t get any better, they did.
We don’t mean to toot our own horns, but this St. Paddy’s twist on your average White Russian is about to blow. Your. Mind.
How? Inspired by the famous cereal milk ice cream from Momofuku in NYC, we recreated the classic drink (which is ordinarily made with cream) and added a serious cereal spin. Introducing: The Lucky Russian!
Ingredients (makes 2 drinks):
– 3 oz vodka
– 1 1/2 oz Kahlua
– 1 1/2 cup cream
– 1 cup Lucky Charms cereal
– ice
About 30 minutes before you’re ready to get your drank on, soak the cereal in the cream. Then pour the cereal cream through a sieve, keeping just the infused cream.
In a shaker, add the vodka, Kahlua, cream, and ice. Get jiggy/shakey with it. Pour into cups, top with fresh whipped cream and Lucky Charms. Then, it’s time to get lucky (or make your own luck)!
