You’ll Be Obsessed With Lucy Liu’s Creative Baby Name
Okay, we’ll be honest here for a sec, when it comes to baby names celebrities can historically go a little bit overboard. But lately, they’ve kind of been doing the best job ever. New Girl’s Max Greenfield named his son Ozzie James. Keira Knightley named her daughter Edie and Jenna Bush named her newborn Poppy Louise. And now Lucy Liu is the newest celeb to hop on board the winning baby name train.
Lucy took to Twitter this afternoon to share her newborn with the world. She writes, “Introducing the new little man in my life, my son Rockwell Lloyd Liu.”
According to Nameberry, Rockwell is an English name this is said to mean “rock spring.” While it’s not quite as figurative as some of the baby names we’ve heard lately, we’re still major fans of the strong name. We’re going to guess that the 46-year-old actress may have been inspired by the acclaimed painter, Norman Rockwell. Congrats to the new mom!
