Lululemon’s Exclusive New Sneaker Collection Includes a Millennial Pink Shoe, Because Duh
Lululemon has had our hearts (and our wallets!) for years thanks to our innovative athleisure wares, like the sports bra the company spent two years developing. Having expanded to include everything from tuxes and cashmere in recent years, the company is now cornering the last area of the workout market they’ve yet to conquer: footwear. More specifically, sneakers!
The cult brand began selling shoes from APL (Athletic Propulsion Labs) back in August of this year, and now, the yoga-centric retailer is expanding that line even further by making its popular styles in three brand new (mostly) exclusive-to-brand hues, one of which, of course, is cinder rose.
The popular TechLoom Ascend Shoe is now available in a black reflective finish ($250) for women and men (so you and bae can run stylishly in sync), as well as an exclusive ombré finish ($200), making these not-so-basic blacks anything but boring.
Pink fans (we’re looking at you in a few years, Princess Charlotte!) are also in luck thanks to the TechLoom Phantom Shoe ($165), which comes in the dreamiest dusty pink exclusive shade: cinder rose.
All three pairs of kicks feature hidden loops for threading laces out of view, and minimizing the risk of tripping — genius!
Better yet, not only are these tennies undeniably fashionable; they’re also made to be supremely comfortable. According to the brand’s website, “They fit as comfortably as a glove — scratch that, a sock — and give your feet unrestricted movement.”
While the shoes are technically made for running, we would totally wear ’em for just about any occasion. It’s official: We can’t wait to see what the chic sportswear brand has up its sleeves for the new year!
