The holidays just passed and you still didn’t get a wearable to help push you to accomplish that fitness resolution you made to yourself. The main issue behind not getting a Jawbone, Pebble, Misfit, etc on your wrist was because there are so many options, right? Have no fear, the rental service Lumoid has arrived to save your fitness tracker conundrums.
The service, popular for short-term camera rentals (think: a Netflix for electronics), just announced a new section of its site for everyone wanting to get on the fitness and sleep tracking lifestyle. Users of the service are able to try any five items — and yes, all the big names are there minus the Moto 360 — for seven days.
Then if you like one, you can buy that specific fitness tracker straight from Lumoid. If you still aren’t sure which one you want after the trial period, you send all the samples back, pay the $20 shipping and handling fee and you continue the search.
Not a bad price to pay for more trial time than you’d get at the wearable counter at Best Buy ;)
Do you think this is a great way to finally join the wearable lifestyle? Let us know in the comments.
