MAC Cosmetics Is Coming to Your Local Ulta VERY Soon
Makeup junkies, it’s about to get even easier to get your paws on that tube of Ruby Woo lipstick you’re running low on. MAC Cosmetics is expanding its reach and moving into Ulta Beauty. It’s a pretty big deal, considering the makeup brand has only been sold in department stores and standalone boutiques to date.

But in efforts to reach a larger audience, MAC will be available on Ulta’s website in May and in 25 stores come June — upping our chances to score a coveted product when a new collection drops. That number will continue to climb to OVER 100 stores by the end of the year.
But what gives? Why now? “This is a great opportunity to bring MAC on stream to a whole new audience,” Karen Buglisi Weiler, MAC’s global brand president, told WWD. “In my mind, there’s maybe a customer who shops at Ulta, but has never walked into a MAC store. Maybe she’s never walked into a Nordstrom to purchase MAC or maybe she’s never walked into a Macy’s.”
But not everything will be at Ulta, just a specially curated collection of MAC’s most iconic products. So what can you expect to see? Studio Fix Fluid Foundation ($28) and Powder Plus Foundation ($28) in 53 shades, Studio Waterweight Foundation ($34), Prolongwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation ($34), and a new foundation: Next to Nothing coming in April.
There will also be lipsticks ($17) in 140 shades, Lipglass ($16), Liptensity ($21), and Retro Matte ($21) lippies. The Little MAC collection of travel-sized products, like $10 lipsticks and mascara for $12, are coming to Ulta too.
OMG. Can you even?
