This Is THE Coolest iPhone Trick for Your Email
Technology is pretty great. These days, your techy tools and smart gadgets are great for making sure you’re safe, helping get your life in order and even keeping you (or your kids!) entertained. Did you know it’s also pretty handy at turning you into an incredible multi-tasking maven? Well, BGR spotlighted this neat trick with the Mail App on your iPhone that will change your life. The tricks allows you to actually minimize email windows and go back into your folders to pull up other emails. We gave it a test, and this might actually be the best trick for the Mail App we’ve ever learned.
Picture this. Your bags are packed, flight is booked, and all that’s left shooting an email to your mom/friend/SO about your flight info, but as you’re typing your email, you realize you don’t actually remember your itinerary. You then have to save that draft, look up your flight info and reopen the original email. Yeah, it’s a total PITA. Well, Apple actually has a solution for that. (Gawd, Apple, you guys think of everything.)
To use this feature, press on the subject (where the red arrow is pointing in the image above) and pull down.
This minimizes your draft to the bottom of your screen. Don’t worry, it doesn’t disappear. This action clears up your screen to look up that other email containing the info you need to reference. Yay for multitasking!
Once you pull up the info you need, just tap on the subject of your minimized draft and it should pull right back up. What’s cool about this is that you can toggle back and forth between emails without worrying about losing your draft.
You’re all very welcome.
