This Blogger’s Athleisure Collab Will Become Your Go-to Outfit
The Man Repeller (AKA Leandra Medine) has been killing it on the fashion front for awhile now. In addition to a wildly successful blog, she’s also an author. She’s become a fixture at fashion week and has had her photo snapped for just about every major street style blog. So it should come as no surprise that the ultra-trendy activewear brand Outdoor Voices teamed up with Medine for their first ever kit collaboration.
Rather than following the typical fashion collaboration format, Outdoor Voices and Leandra went about it a little differently. Outdoor Voices has released an OV x Man Repeller Kit, which features a custom set of products that come as a package. In the kit you’ll find: a jump rope, two crop tops, tri-toned leggings, a carryall tote, an ice-pop charm and even a chocolate bar.
While you can find the Athena crop and 3/4-length leggings outside the kit, the color combos in the Man Repeller’s collection are exclusive to her set. As for the rest of the items, you won’t find them anywhere else.
Leandra advises the folks at Refinery29 to rock the look as is, even if the gym isn’t part of the plan for your day. We can definitely get behind that for a day filled with errands or a casual brunch, but we’d also jump at the chance to integrate these pieces into the rest of our wardrobe. That ’70s-inspired tee with some denim cut-offs would be pure summer camp gold. And the Athena Crop paired with a patterned midi skirt has music festival written all over it.
The seven-piece collection is retailing for $250, which seems quite reasonable considering the 3/4-length leggings typically retail for $85 on their own. But be warned: OV only has 150 up for grabs so if you want one, you’d better hustle.
