Why People Are Getting Bee Tattoos to Support the Victims from the Manchester Attack
In the aftermath of the horrific terrorist attack in Manchester, folks are coming together in all different ways to help those affected. Aside from people opening up their homes and offering up their rooms to those in need, the tattoo artists of Manchester are banding together to raise money for the families and victims in the best way they know how.

UK-based tattoo artist Sam Barber posted a photo on Instagram announcing that she and other Manchester artists will be tattooing Manchester Bees (for Manchester’s coat of arms) for £50 (about $65) on May 28 and 29, with the proceeds going to the families and victims of the arena attack.
Tons of people have already gotten tattooed ahead of the event (any tattoo artist can participate), with many more expressing interest.
Those who don’t want to get inked can also donate by contacting the MCR through the Facebook Page set up for the event. In the wake of such tragedy, it’s heartening to see people unifying to do what they can to those who need it.
Would you get tattooed to support a charity? Tell us about it @BritandCo!
