Mandy Moore’s “This Is Us” Costars Just Confirmed She’s Engaged to BF Taylor Goldsmith!
Earlier this week, entertainment journalist Marc Malkin reported via an unnamed source that Mandy Moore and musician Taylor Goldsmith had gotten engaged at their Pasadena, California, home. Neither Moore nor Goldsmith commented on the news publicly, but now — not unlike how Mindy Kaling’s costars spilled the beans on her pregnancy — Moore’s This Is Us costars are too excited to keep the news to themselves.

“I’ve seen the sparkler, but I have not heard the story yet because I have not seen her yet,” Chris Sullivan, who plays Toby on the show, told ET at the This Is Us soundtrack release party on Wednesday. He divulged that Moore excitedly shared the news with her This Is Us fam in their show’s group chat.
“She just sent out an alert over our family text chain,” he said. “She just sent a photo and just wanted us all to know that this just happened, and so then we went on a response spree for about a day and a half.” He added that he often makes GIFs out of the group chat, to which we say, GIF that ring, Sullivan!
Sullivan also revealed that he had just seen Goldsmith — whom he referred to as Moore’s “boyfriend, well, now fiancé” — but that the Dawes rocker stayed quiet about the news. “He’s quickly becoming one of my favorite people,” Sullivan said of Goldsmith. “He and Mandy are an incredible couple.”
Jon Huertas, who plays Moore’s (NON-JACK) on-screen husband Miguel on the show, also chimed to send some love. “Taylor is an amazing guy,” he said. “I love him so much. I love Mandy so much. I’m really happy that they’re going to be joining the club!”
Moore and Goldsmith recently celebrated two years as a couple together, a milestone she shared with her fans on Instagram. “The best two years,” she captioned a picture of the pair laughing with their arms draped around each other. “Never not smiling with you, T.”
Around the same time, the singer-actress admitted that she felt like she was at a new stage in her life, and that building a home with Goldsmith was the perfect way to embrace it. “I’m ready to start over, start from scratch,” she told People. “I’m so enthusiastic about embracing that. I can’t wait. It’s the best feeling.” Here’s to the next stage for these two — congrats!
