This Cult Fave Handbag Line Is Now Making Clothing
Mansur Gavriel basically exploded onto the fashion scene in the Spring of 2012 and hasn’t looked back since, having developed a cult-like following for its minimalist accessories. It all started with the Bucket Bag ($545) that launched a thousand knock-offs. Perhaps you’ve seen the one?
With this waitlist wonder officially putting Mansur Gavriel on the map, the New York-based brand continued its industry takeover with shoes launched in Spring 2016 and took home the coveted CFDA Accessory Designer of the Year Award that same year. Now, comes the news that’s leaving every fashion insider gasping for air: Ready-to-Wear is coming.

Yes, the folks over at Mansur Gavriel just announced that, in addition to switching to the increasingly popular see-now-buy-now model (the Fall/Winter 2017 collection will be shown in September 2017), clothing from the label will also make its debut this Fall. “We want to create a full world for our consumers and are thrilled to grow our product offering to include ready-to-wear,” founders and designers Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel explain in a release. “Our decision to simultaneously switch to a consumer-focused calendar is also exciting. We’re looking forward to offering our customers such immediacy.” With teaser images of the ready-to-wear yet to be released, we’ll just have to make do until then with fantasies of filling our closets with All. Mansur. Everything.
