This New Girl Actor’s Baby Name Is Fit for a Rockstar

Actress Zooey Deschanel isn’t the only New Girl cast member that had to think creatively (i.e. come up with a unique baby name) over the summer. Joining the quirky star in parenthood is Schmidt aka Max Greenfield and his wife, casting executive Tess Sanchez, who just welcomed their second child to the world. It’s summer. Schmidt happens, you guys.
Joining 5-year-old big sis Lilly and his parents is Ozzie James Greenfield, who E! News confirmed was born on Monday, August 24.
According to SheKnows, the name has two meanings. In Hebrew, Ozzie is defined as strong, while the English interpretation is divine power. Either way you look at it Max, who will also be appearing alongside Lady Gaga this fall on FX’s American Horror Story: Hotel, picked a powerful name for his little guy. Now if only we could get a snap of Ozzie and Zooey’s new girl we’d be set.
