WTF: McDonald’s App Defends Your Precious Fries
Your Mission: Quickly go to the restroom to wash your hands before diving into your Mickey D’s meal. Your Enemies: All your so-called “friends” who didn’t get fries with their meals. Expected Return Time: Three minutes. Ready? Cue “Can’t Touch This.” OH WAIT — You don’t have to speed away, praying that your friends won’t steal your hot and crispy fries and leave you with nothing but an empty red box. There’s an app for that!
Frimes (fry crimes) are no laughing matter. That’s why McDonald’s Canada has created the Fry Defender app (iOS and Android). Turn on the app and your phone instantly turns into a motion sensor. But your phone placement has to be strategic or else you’ll be a victim of a frime.
Placing your phone next to your fries is a rookie mistake. Fry thieves can easily make their way through the opposite side or bust out their aerial moves. Clearly, you’ve got to put your phone underneath the box of crispy goodness and have the app’s motion sensor peeking through the beautiful matrix of fries. When the sensor gets triggered, a loud alarm will go off and your fry thief will be caught red-handed!
Download it for free on iOs or Android and never leave your fries unprotected again. Ba-da-da-da-daaaa, we’re lovin’ it!
How will you set up your state-of-the-art, fry-defending technology? Let’s chat in the comments!
