WTF: McDonald’s New Angry Birds Burgers Are Bright Green
Oh, McDonald’s: Just when we think you’re on the right track with all those healthier menu items, you go and create something that’s, well, semi-terrifying: like bright green and red burgers.

Dubbed the “Naughty Green Pork Burger” and inspired by the game’s villainous green pigs, one such item consists of a pork patty, mystery sauce, egg, lettuce, jalapenos and a BRIGHT GREEN bun. Don’t get us wrong — we’re all about food coloring when it comes to sprucing up the occasional cupcake, but we think this may be a bit much.
Alternately, there’s also a burger for the game/film’s protagonist — “The Super Red Burger” — which McDonald’s describes as a “smoky chicken patty topped with egg, lettuce, tomato and fiery pepper mayo.”
One brave taste tester, @dinastik, was on board with this one, so at the very least, we know it’s edible.

While it’s unclear if these little delights will be making their way to the US anytime soon, we’re not too entirely broken up about it ATM — we prefer our burger buns to look a little more… erm, natural, if you will.
But hey, that’s just us!
Would you try the green pork burger? Let us know over @BritandCo!
