In her own IG post, current CG model Katy Perry dropped the news, sharing an adorable snap from her and James’s first ever photoshoot. In it, she says, “Just wrapped another great @COVERGIRL shoot. Honored to have the pleasure to announce the very first COVERBOY, James Charles! Follow him @JCharlesBeauty! #COVERGIRLJames #Glam!”

And with one look at James’s account, it’s easy to see why the blogger was picked. His skills are more than just on point — they are flawless.

We are loving this all-inclusive choice by CoverGirl and hope that other brands follow suit. This just goes to show that thinking outside the fashion and beauty box can yield some drool-worthy results!
