Meghan Markle’s Newest Piece of Jewelry Reportedly Has a *Very* Sentimental Story Behind It
Meghan Markle has no shortage of amazing jewelry. From her jaw-dropping Cleve and Company engagement ring, which pays homage to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, to her dainty Zofia Day piece (which even us non-royals can afford!), girl’s accessory game is strong. Her latest piece of bling is one we’ll likely be seeing a whole lot more of, however, thanks to the sentimental story behind it.
While visiting Birmingham, England, last Thursday, the Suits star debuted a delicate silver bracelet featuring a tiny cross.
According to People, her accessory is a nod to her baptism at the Church of England last week in the queen’s honor. Considering that baptism bracelets are customary to commemorate the occasion, we’d be willing to bet that reports aren’t too far off the mark here.
The bride-to-be wasted no time in making the look her own, pairing it with a Birks Rosée du Matin Diamond Horizontal Bar Bracelet ($925, sold out) for a striking layered effect.
