Meghan Markle Wears “Husband” Shirt for First Public Outing With Prince Harry
It’s official: We’ve got a newly crowned style icon, and her name is Meghan Markle. The Suits actress has been making headlines for days after stepping out with her boyfriend Prince Harry for their first public appearance at the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto this past weekend. But we can’t stop swooning over her casual yet chic fashion choices.
After Markle showed us how to slay in monochromatics, pairing an Aritizia dress that promptly sold out with a wine-colored leather jacket by Mackage, she managed to make jeans and a white button-down so effortlessly cool, nailing the look with anything-but-basic accessories.
Just as (future?) sister-in-law Kate Middleton loves to send sartorial messages with her ensembles (has the Duchess met a theme that she couldn’t dress for?), Markle may have hinted at her relationship status with Prince Harry via her button-down, conveniently named The Husband Shirt by Misha Nonoo ($185).
She paired the menswear-inspired pick with Mother Denim Looker Ankle Fray Jeans ($114 on sale) and tan Sarah Flint Natalie Flats ($495). Markle wore the Italian handcrafted pointy-toe flats in saddle, and as expected, they’re *thisclose* to selling out. If you’re looking for royal style on a less-than-royal budget, you can snag her super roomy purse, the Day Market Tote by Everlane. Markle rocked the cognac color for her big day out, and it can be yours for $165.
