Meghan Markle Slips Into Your Fave Commuting Flats to Kick Off Royal Tour
After announcing that they are expecting their first child together, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry kicked off their Australian tour. Predictably, the Duchess of Sussex wowed in her trademark minimal style, including a pair of black flats that you probably own.
On October 16th in Sydney, Markle wore the white Blessed dress by Australian designer Karen Gee, paired with nude Stuart Weitzman Legend pumps. The outfit was classic Markle, but it was her unexpected shoe swap later in the day that really made us love her even more.
After a long day of touring, the Duchess pulled a move that every woman (and especially every pregnant woman) can totally relate to: She switched from heels into a pair of our favorite commuter flats. Rothy’s Black Pointed Toe Flat ($145) didn’t sacrifice style over comfort. The machine-washable, seamless knit shoe paired perfectly with her sheath and Martin Grant coat.
