Much to our delight, stars are taking the theme of the 2018 Met Gala, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, and running with it in the form of stunning, elaborate headpieces and hair accessories that will challenge the royal wedding. Ahead, the best headgear we saw on stars including Rita Ora, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, and more. Your move, Kate Middleton. Rita Ora: Ora rocked in a custom Prada gown and a showstopping headpiece. "I created the custom headpiece by lacquering 5 coats of paint on silk roses to create the intense, black matte look," her hairstylist, Brent Lawler for Dove, said. "Each has about 50 mini Swarovski crystals for a gorgeous light catching effect. It's secured with bobby pins and all together it weighs 3.5 pounds!" Olivia Munn: Wearing custom H&M Conscious Collection, Munn told Entertainment Tonight her look, including her Michael Schmidt headpiece, was inspired by the crusades. (Photo by Matt Winkelmeyer/MG18/Getty Images for The Met Museum/Vogue)

Lynda Carter: Original Wonder Woman Lynda Carter stuck with a look that has never let her down — a gold crown. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images)
