Michael Phelps Deserves a Medal for His Lip Syncing of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself”
Michael Phelps may be the most decorated Olympian of all-time, and though he’s announced his retirement from competition, we think he deserves one more medal for his epic lip-syncing performance of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself.” During the Lip Sync Battle: All-Stars Live Championship, Phelps took his brooding game face to a whole new level by getting fully into his performance.
Following fellow Team USA Olympians Aly Raisman and Simone Biles, who joined Olivia Munn to take on Sia’s “Cheap Thrills,” Michael proved that swimming certainly isn’t his only talent. Impressively stealing Eminem’s style, mimicking his moves and nailing the lyrics, Phelps’ performance was totally on-point and allowed him to take home the championship belt.
If this is the kind of thing we can expect from Michael Phelps’ retirement, we’re all for it.
