Michelle Williams and Busy Philipps are besties through and through, regularly hitting the red carpet together and swapping beauty secrets with one another, and now, they’ve found another way to show off their BFF status to the world: through their clothing.
During a recent outing to celebrate the birthday of Williams, 37, the pair opted for coordinating leather haindpainted Veda “Best Friend” BE + Fri and ST + End bomber jackets ($1,320) that had our hearts all aglow.
Philipps gave us a glimpse at her badass piece prior to ever hooking up with what she calls her “other half,” holding up her “Be Fri” end of the bargain.
It wasn’t long until she found her “St End,” however, posting a second shot of the two clasping hands as they took a nighttime stroll. “Found her,” the Cougar Town actress wrote. “Happy birthday to my better half. I love you, M. You make everything better.”
While it didn’t wind up being their most fun outing ever — Phiipps wound up in the hospital after experiencing an excruciating pain in her lower right side caused by a condition known as “torsion,” which occurs after one’s ovary flips over — all’s well that end’s well: Williams’ bestie was fortunate to have it flip back to its rightful spot on its own, making more serious solutions such as surgery or ovary removal unnecessary. “I felt like an idiot for going to the hospital, but ultimately going was the right move!” she shared. “Even if they say you’re fine and you’re on your way!”
Her positive health prognosis meant that the two pals could get back to much more fun endeavors… like reliving their Dawson’s Creek glory days on a dock.
Yup, that’s right: The former teen stars stars relived the scenes that brought them both to megastardom, snuggling up for what could have been a promo shot for the hit ‘90s show.
“We found a dock. WHERE YOU AT DAWSON?” the RL Audrey Liddell wrote.
Sigh. Could these two BE any cooler?
