Mick Jagger’s Latest Baby News Will Make Him a Daddy Eight Times Over
At 72 years old (make that 73 as of July 26!), Mick Jagger has secured his legacy about a jillion times over — he’s been the frontman for iconic rock group The Rolling Stones for more than 50 years.
Yet the music mogul is not quiiiiiite done making his mark on the world, with his rep confirming to multiple publications that Mick will be a dad for the eighth time over when his girlfriend of two years, 29-year-old ballerina Melanie Hamrick, gives birth to their impending baby.
Though the couple plans to continue living separately — Mick resides in London while Melanie plans to relocate to either LA or Connecticut, where Mick visits frequently and she’ll have family nearby — a source tells The Sun, who first broke the news, that he will be very much involved in his new baby’s life.
“The most important thing is how much he loves his children… he will support and love this child,” the source says.
He certainly has plenty of practice: Mick has seven children from previous unions with Marsha Hunt, Bianca Jagger, Jerry Hall and Luciana Giminez.
That’s a lotttttt of babies on tour — Stones’ guitarist Ronnie Wood, 69, welcomed twins with wife Sally, 37, less than two months ago!

Though we’ve yet to spy any baby bump posts on Melanie’s page, she did post this pensive ballet shot just three days ago, simply titled “Sun vibes,” (although that whole puffer vest thing is making a whole lot more sense now!)
Congratulations Mick and Melanie!
