Miley Cyrus Just Wore *the* Most Extra Dress We’ve Ever Seen on “The Voice”
It’s Miley Cyrus’ birthday, and she’ll wear whatever she wants to! In addition to showing off the adorably sweet personalized necklace that her love Liam Hemsworth gave her for her birthday, The Voice judge had some killer style to display thanks to the BEYOND extra — i.e. absolutely perfect — look the flamboyant star donned for Tuesday night’s episode of The Voice.
While stepping out in bright colors and striking patterns is nothing new for the “Malibu” songstress, the strapless, fuchsia frock she wore on the show with no less than three tiers of ruffled fabric made for one of her most unforgettable sartorial moments to date.
Taking to Instagram, Cyrus took some time out for a little body-swaying fun, writing, “BIG dress in celebration of a BIG night for #TeamMiley. 💕💕💕”
She wasn’t kidding: Her entire team, including Janice Freeman, Brooke Simpson, and Ashland Craft, remained intact.
Liam Hemworth’s fiancée paired the unusual garment with matching hot pink platform mules and massive rhinestone hoop earrings that reached down past her shoulders. “The bigger the dress, the bigger the hoop!” she wrote.
Though the style received mixed reactions from viewers — as most of the now 25-year-old star’s ensembles are wont to do — she seemed to be perfectly pleased with her wardrobe, proving yet again that she doesn’t GAF what anyone else thinks about her personal style.
