Miley Cyrus’ Birthday Message to Liam Hemsworth Is So Romantic
Miley Cyrus is sharing the love. In honor of new husband Liam Hemsworth‘s 29th birthday, she wrote a list of her favorite things about him for a message that is as personal as it is romantic.
“HBD 2 Da Hubz,” Cyrus captioned the message, which she posted on Sunday, January 13. “When we met, you were 19. Today, you are 29. I thought I could share some of my favorite things about my favorite dude in honor of this very special day.”
From there, Cyrus began listing the things she loves about her husband, including several sweet details from their lives together: “The way you look at me, the way you look at our dogs … our pigs, our horses, our cats, our fish. The way you look at your family, your friends … at strangers … at life. The way you look at the ocean and the way you always take your time. The way you go outside when I ask ‘what’s the weather like?’ instead of checking your phone.”
The “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer said she even loves seeing Hemsworth’s dirty socks on the floor, because it means he’s home. And when he’s home, she loves lying in bed with him and looking up breakfast recipes, having a teeth-brushing partner, speaking their own language (“sometimes with just a look”), watching The Sandlot, and eating Chinese food when they’re hungover.
“I love going to a random party and remembering basically everyone is fake AF out here and how lucky I am to share a life with someone so REAL,” she continued.
“Put simply… I love YOU. Unconditionally. In our time together you have displayed what it really means to love thru all circumstances. I respect you and you respect me,” Cyrus concluded her letter. “If the world had more of this type of understanding, we wouldn’t be building more walls but bridges. I’m proud of the person you have become and look forward to all the good we will contribute ToGeThEr in the future, You and Me baby. Let’s take this dark place head on and shine thru with the light of L.O.V.E. Thank you for giving me that happiest days of my life. Yours Truly , M.”
Cyrus and Hemsworth tied the knot after almost a decade together in an intimate wedding in Tennessee on Sunday, December 23. The newlyweds confirmed the nuptials on Instagram, with Cyrus’ proud parents, Tish and Billy Ray, doing the same just a few days later.
