Milo Ventimiglia Shares His Feelings About TV Wife Mandy Moore’s Engagement to Taylor Goldsmith
These are some next-level (fake) relationship goals. During a sit-down on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, This Is Us stars Sterling K. Brown, Mandy Moore, and Milo Ventimiglia had a moment to chat about Moore’s recent engagement to musician Taylor Goldsmith. Ever the supportive on-screen spouse, Ventimiglia gushed to the host not only about his TV wife, but also about her future IRL husband.
Moore told DeGeneres that her fiancé has met the entire cast, calling them “one big family” and sharing that everyone’s significant others get along quite well. “We all really love each other,” she added.
DeGeneres jokingly asked Ventimiglia if he felt “possessive” over his faux wife, to which he replied, “I didn’t get asked for her hand in marriage as like TV husband, but at the same time, I was OK with it. It was fine.”
He went on to praise the Dawes frontman, saying, “Taylor, he’s the kindest soul, and Mandy, she’s like the most beautiful of human beings. So the two of them coming together, it’s right and it’s good. We’re all very happy for you.”
“Amen,” Brown cosigned when Ventimiglia was done gushing about Moore and Goldsmith.
This will be Moore’s second trip down the aisle. The actress and singer was previously married to alt rocker Ryan Adams, whom she divorced in 2015. After their split, Moore told E! News that their relationship completely changed the way she works, saying, “I think it’s been great to be able to take all of the chapters in my life and be able to pour it into a job like this because it all helps. It’s all fuel.”
