Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel Welcome a Baby Boy!
Miranda Kerr and Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel are starting another new chapter together! The couple announced in a statement on Wednesday that they welcomed a baby boy earlier this week.
“Words cannot explain how happy we are to welcome our beautiful son into our family,” Kerr and Spiegel told People. “Miranda is doing well and Flynn is excited to be a big brother. Thank you for the kind words and wishes during this very special time.”
The new bundle — who, according to TMZ, is named Hart, after Spiegel’s attorney grandfather— was born on Monday, May 7, at 11:53pm in Los Angeles. Little Hart is the first child for Spiegel, and the second for model Kerr, who shares son Flynn, 7, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom.
It’s certainly been a whirlwind year for the new parents: They tied the knot last May after a 10-month engagement (which was announced using Bitmoji, naturally), and six months later, in November, revealed their exciting baby news. The couple kept the baby’s sex a secret throughout Kerr’s pregnancy.
