Miranda Kerr Is Engaged to Snapchat Founder Evan Spiegel
Celeb engagements are sparkling left and right these days — Pippa Middleton, Miley Cyrus and Blac Chyna, just to name a few — and now, Miranda Kerr has said “yes” to the love of her life, who just happens to be the founder of your fave social media site of the moment, Snapchat. Having only recently revealed their relationship to the world, the duo is now heading down the aisle. And just to make this over-the-top totally amazing: They made the announcement via Bitmoji!
The pair, who have been together for two years now and who just made their Instagram debut as a couple a few months ago, “met at a dinner in LA for Louis Vuitton and became friends,” according to Miranda, who told the Sydney Morning Herald, “We were really good friends for a long time before we started dating.”
The 33-year-old Australian model and mom of one (who she co-parents with ex Orlando Bloom) claims the pair live a totally laid-back lifestyle. Referring to her now-fiancé, Miranda told The Edit, “He’s 25, but acts like he’s 50. He’s not out partying. He goes to work in [LA’s] Venice. He comes home. We don’t go out. We’d rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed early.” Sounds… exciting?
And, yep, you read that right: Evan may be quite a bit younger than Miranda (he’s currently 26, which makes him seven years her junior), but he’s accomplished quite a bit in his quarter century lifetime. Y’know, creating the hottest app in the super competitive sphere of social media.
Congratulations to the lovely duo!
