This Creative Fashion Show Lets Everyone Attend
We’re in the midst of New York Fashion Week, and all the shows going one seem to be trying to one-up each other in terms of uniqueness (like Opening Ceremony’s, where all the models broke out simultaneously in dance). Plus, tastemakers, bloggers and fashion insiders are posting their pics of all the hottest new looks and their #OOTDs to Instagram, so the social media platform is a literally a visual feast. Designer Misha Nonoo decided to take advantage of the fact that everyone is tuned in to NYFW via social media by hosting her show… on Instagram.
The London-based designer is best known for her versatile and chic women’s wardrobe staples, and she posted her entire Spring 2016 collection to Instagram. All you need to do is turn your phone sideways to appreciate the gorgeous pieces.
For your viewing ease, we’ve rotated the pics for you. The collection is full of totally wearable printed A-line skirts, bold reds and office-ready white blouses.
This maxi and plaid blazer, trouser and dress fits in perfectly with the designer’s MO, which is to create clothing that “supports women’s multifaceted lives by seamlessly taking them from day to play.”
The designer’s graphic black and white jumpsuits look like a fresh new take on the zoot suit.
All labels should probably go ahead and start putting their shows on Instagram. NYFW for all!
